Brotherly Love

This picture was taken one day after Reagan was born. Winston loved him from the very start. It was natural to him, like breathing. In this picture Winston was supposed to just hold Reagan. Winston kissed him instead......he could not help it. Afterall, the day before his best friend was just born......

I remember the first time I had to get on to Reagan. I think it might have been for biting... Anyway, I had to make it clear that was not acceptable behavior. Winston cried for Reagan....and got on to me for getting on to Reagan! Reagan now does the same thing for Winston.....

  

Reagan turns 2!!

I can not believe two years have past so quickly. You amaze me everyday. Winston loves being your brother, just as your father and I love being your Mamma and Dadda. Happy 2nd Birthday to our Reagan!

On his new tricycle........buuuuuun!!! buuuuuuuun!!! 

BUGS!

The boys have recently been extra interested in bugs. The other day Winston wanted to keep a caterpillar. Reagan found this grasshopper by saying, "Looook! Loooook!"
Notice the stick..... Winston isn't quite brave enough yet to pick up anything first without poking it with a stick.

Photography Class

I have always loved to take pictures....

Happy

I never knew how much joy two people could bring into my life. I remember as a child just being happy. Becoming an adult is hard. There were times when I thought, "Will I ever be as happy as I was when I was a kid?"

I found my answer. I found that happiness again because of these two boys.

This Past Weekend

This past weekend we went to visit Brian's family. His nephew was getting married. The whole family went. It was a good time. It was good to get away.... a change of scenery is sometimes good for the soul. The boys loved taking a bath outside. Reagan didn't want out. It was funny. Winston loved the horses.


I lost count how many rocks he threw in the water bucket. He really thought he was working. "Dada, I work. I work hard! Whew!"


The bucket was a perfect fit for him. He could have stayed there forever.

Potty and the Park

Well an end of an era is approaching. My big boy just pooped in the potty.

Winston is growing up so fast right before my eyes. I will forgo the pictures of his first poop for pictures of us at the park...thought those pictures might be more enjoyable!

Winston was just excited to be at a party with family. When we left Randy and Steph's he actually whined about it. I asked him after we got him in the truck, "Winston, don't you want to go?" He said in a pitiful voice and a puckered bottom lip, "No."

Spent time with Winston today

We went to the park today. You can tell by the picture he did not want to leave. He loved watching all of the kites. I told him we would bring ours next time.

One thing I do a lot........

Is watch this sweet baby sleep in my arms. I know there will be a time when this is not possible...
I am soaking it up as much ad I can.

It is all in the details.......

At first glance, this picture just looks like a typical picture you might find in anybody's album....nothing to extraordinary about it......very much typical. But it is what is in the background that makes this picture special.....worth keeping. Had this photo been a good representation of Brian and me, I would have blown it up, framed it, hung it on the wall and shown everyone why this seemingly typical picture is so not.
If you look closer at the background you will see 3 people waving........those people aren't crazy. They are family. They were meeting us at the baseball game, saw us posing for this picture and seized the moment to be apart of this photo opportunity.  We had no idea they were there. I can't help but look at this picture and smile ....... remembering Winston's 1st baseball game and how it was a family first as well. We all got together and went to the game.........a little adventure per say. Even though we didn't take a group picture that day, it is because of this picture we kinda did........I mean look at Ben, it looks like he is whispering "cheeeeeese!" right in my ear. Ha!

Here's another picture from that day in August of 2008, just about a year to the date when Reagan was born.

Winston was about 7 months old.

   He was about 2 1/2 months old.

A Picture Says a Thousand Words.....

This picture was taken on a whim. It just so happend that Winston and Brian were getting ready for bed. They just finished brushing their teeth....can't you tell by all of the water? ha! Anyway, I just so happend to have the camera right there........literally picked it up and snapped the picutre.......just as quick as that! I am so glad I got this picture ..........................it speaks volumes!
